Workflow
Make a photo booth strip at home
You need a browser, decent light, and about ten minutes. Online Photo Booth handles countdown capture, template framing, and export— including a print sheet when you want physical copies.

Before you open the tool
Pick a spot with one main light source—a window during the day or a floor lamp at night. Clear clutter from the background; plain walls beat busy shelves.
If this is a group event, decide whether everyone uses the webcam or whether some people will upload phone photos later. Both paths live in the same tool.
Open Online Photo Booth
Allow camera access when prompted. On phones, use front camera for self-facing poses; on a laptop, raise the screen to eye level.
Online Photo BoothSelect a template and optional title or date
Browse Simple, Decor, Birthday, or Travel categories. Read the slot count—three or four frames are easiest for first-time groups.
Online Photo BoothRun the capture sequence
Follow the countdown. Use retake on the last frame if needed, or Shoot again for a full new set without losing your template.
Online Photo BoothAdjust slots and download
Drag inside each slot to reframe faces. Download the strip, share locally if your browser supports it, or export a print sheet for 4×6 or A4.
Online Photo BoothOptional: compress for messaging
Large PNGs are fine for print; for group chats, run the finished strip through Image Compressor only if the file is slow to send.
Image CompressorPrint or digital only?
Print sheet from the booth
You want two or four identical strips on one photo paper run—party favors, scrapbooks, or fridge magnets.
Online Photo BoothDigital share only
You post to stories or send in chat—export JPG or PNG and skip the printer.
Online Photo BoothQuick quality check
- Faces are sharp in every slot
- Template title and date read clearly on mobile
- Print test passed at 100% scale if you are cutting strips
- No private background details visible
Do I need Photo Strip Maker too?
Only if you skip the camera and assemble a strip from existing photos. The booth workflow is self-contained for live capture.
What paper should I buy?
4×6 in glossy or matte photo paper for small strips; A4 photo paper when you use the four-up sheet.
Are photos uploaded to Pixlery?
No. Capture, preview, and export run locally in your browser.
