How we handle your data

Last updated: June 25, 2026

Image processing

Pixlery's image tools and camera photo booth process supported files and temporary camera frames inside your browser. Pixlery does not receive or store images, camera frames, logos, watermark text, crop coordinates, masks, metadata details, or generated PDFs.

Temporary browser data

Your browser may hold image data and preview URLs in memory while the page is open. Refreshing or closing the page clears the current task.

Metadata

Exported images remove embedded metadata such as EXIF and GPS data. Orientation is applied before export when the browser provides it.

Analytics

Pixlery uses Google Analytics to measure page views and low-cardinality product events such as tool completion and structured error categories. Advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled. Google may process browser, device, network, cookie, and usage data under its own policies. Pixlery never includes image content, filenames, exact dimensions, EXIF, or local file paths in analytics events.

Contact

Questions about privacy, the tools, or these policies can be sent to [email protected].

Background removal library

The Image Background Remover currently uses the open-source @imgly/background-removal library from IMG.LY. The page may download model and runtime resources from staticimgly.com, but the selected image and generated mask are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to Pixlery or a background-removal API.
