Frequently asked questions

Does resizing crop my image?

No. The resizer scales the entire image and does not crop the subject.

Can I resize several images together?

Yes. Shared settings apply to the full batch, while each image keeps its own aspect ratio.

Will enlarging improve quality?

No. Increasing pixel dimensions cannot create missing detail and may make an image look softer.

What do width and height do in pixel mode?

With aspect ratio locked, changing one dimension automatically updates the other to keep the uploaded image's proportions. To upscale, uncheck “Do not enlarge smaller images”. To stretch to an exact width and height, unlock aspect ratio.

Are transparent images supported?

Yes. PNG and WebP transparency is preserved unless you choose JPG output.
