Use Face Blur responsibly.

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Face Blur, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Mandatory consumer rights and the app marketplace terms that apply to you remain unaffected.

2. The service

Face Blur is an on-device privacy photo editor. It can suggest face regions and lets you apply blur, mosaic, solid covers, selected icons, manual regions, crop operations, and optional background blur before exporting a new copy.

The app does not promise that every face, plate, document, screen, reflection, tattoo, location clue, or other identifying detail will be found automatically. You must review the complete output before relying on it or sharing it.

3. Your photos and results

You retain your rights in photos you select and outputs you create. You grant the app only the device-local access needed to perform the operation you request.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions required to process, edit, save, and share a photo, including permission from people shown where applicable. Face Blur does not transfer ownership of third-party content to you.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Face Blur to violate law, another person’s rights, platform rules, or security controls.

• Do not use the app to facilitate harassment, exploitation, fraud, impersonation, or unlawful surveillance.
• Do not process or distribute content you do not have the right to use.
• Do not reverse engineer or interfere with the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Do not present a processed result as guaranteed anonymity or as proof that all identifying information was removed.

5. Privacy

Our Face Blur Privacy Policy explains the app’s photo access, temporary storage, metadata behavior, settings, and current no-analytics position. Your use of a system photo library, browser, share destination, or app store is also subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices.

6. App and open-source materials

Face Blur, its branding, product design, and original software are owned by or licensed to Huayuqixin Technology Co., Ltd. and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The app also includes open-source software and selected Fluent Emoji and Noto Emoji assets under their respective licenses. Applicable notices are available in the app’s open-source licenses screen.

These terms do not override an open-source license. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Availability and changes

Face Blur is provided as available. Device memory, image format, operating-system behavior, model limitations, and third-party components can affect results. We may add, remove, or change features and supported formats, and may stop offering the app where reasonably necessary.

Keep your original photos and verify exported copies. The app does not replace professional legal, safety, security, or identity-redaction review.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Face Blur is provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, exact detection, complete anonymization, fitness for a particular purpose, or identical output across devices. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Huayuqixin Technology Co., Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the app, loss of an original, a missed identifying detail, or a destination chosen through the share sheet. Any limitation applies only to the extent allowed in your jurisdiction and does not limit non-waivable consumer rights.

10. Ending use

You may stop using Face Blur at any time and uninstall it. We may restrict or discontinue access when necessary to protect users, comply with law, or address misuse. Sections that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue to apply.

11. Changes and contact
